The day was relaxing with some planning in mind and a good book.

Five-hours stroll in town with my old toy Agfamatic Sensor 2000 was darn exhausted, yet fulfilling. Eager to get my first roll of 110 film developed soon. :)

Coffee Dribbles

Been passing the same road almost everyday for eight months long since I am in the organization, guess you must be surprised that this is my first visit to the cafe named China House in town with Jin Yin and Yong Chern. Fluff in and out the delicate cafe interior and crowds, we were fortunate to grab a table for three and our night chat went awesome simply with the Coffees: latte and macchiato, apple rum raisin flavored cake and a small pot full of brown sugar.

Feeling Grateful @ Coffee Atelier

Met up with my ex roomie, Nicole today in the coffee house. Three years staying under the same roof, we have captured quite a big portion of university life together. I mean, really a lot. Always thankful to meet someone special throughout different stages of my life who shares both my happiness and sorrow. Spent the rest of our Sunday afternoon, reminiscing the past and sharing the future; words by words.

Simple . Living

Dinner over Behind 50 the cafe with colleagues. Simply heart the english oldies playing in the air, with much inspirations dwelling in the heart. My bliss to have best companion, good food and beautiful encounters that fill my eyes. Working as living ain't fun but I do treasure my personal time after work more precious, somehow. Living is simple, it seems.

My formula for living is quite simple.
I get up in the morning and I go to bed at night.
In between, I occupy myself as best I can.

Beauty : Hunger

Beauty is an ecstasy; it is as simple as hunger.
There is really nothing to be said about it.
It is like the perfume of a rose: you can smell it and that is all.

Market Hall @ Pavilion

Someone dearie brought me over to Market Hall at Pavilion during my last trip to Shimokita [ link ] in Kuala Lumpur. The restaurant is adjacent to its sisterbar, Bedroom which is just located next door. Smack me for missing the shot of that. Argh.

With a very rustic, open concept kitchen; the key concept of freshness has been illustrated even well with the fresh locally farmed ingredients to freshly handmade pasta dough. Owing to the short time frame that I manage to meet up with Karyen, so I will just leave you guys with the restaurant interior shots made imperfectly beautiful by my mobile. I hope you do enjoy the lovely night with us. Ciao!

There's a highlight for the night on their Signature Pizza. Freshly served from wood fire oven with no tomato sauce and mozarella cheese, the doughy base tasted just nice with its topping of smoked salmon, avocado, cream cheese, capers, dill and baby spinach. However, the portion was a bit too huge for both petite like us.

Even the drinks are inadequate to quench my thirst for chic-chatters. Laugh.

I always find blogging is really my way of cherishing life. Not solely on capturing memories, but creating beautiful encounters with new friends too. And of course, Karyen, she is def one of my whimsical blogger babe. Nice meeting you, again.

Look at a day when you are supremely satisfied at the end.
It's not a day when you lounge around doing nothing;
it's when you've had everything to do,
and you've done it.

The Heart Echoed

I happened to encounter this beautiful story yesterday when I went to market with my mom. Met with this vietnamese mama, sitting on the floor with two kids, intertwining her fingers with colorful beads and a humble presence without uttering any. I was thinking, a bowl of noodles of mine could have earned her kids a book. Thus, I am home with this little pony. It does not take much to do something good but how the heart echoed within.

What Winning Means

It was such an ouch! moment to miss the gold medal in Olympic 2012 men's singles badminton final at such a small step. We have won, perhaps. What winning means, is the pride that Dato Lee Chong Wei shines in yellow at his great match with Lin Dan. Thank you.

Laughters Often Heard

Often heard, can colleagues be friends? Appreciated much on my bliss to meet these beautiful people at my current workplace. And life turns out good not where but who you're with that really matters. Laughters throughout the evening counted, definitely.
