Sometimes I am just that not that into my dream path. Received a call today from the agency in Kuala Lumpur and I actually rejected without asking what is the position. I knew I have to stay here, somehow.

Sentimental Rainbow @ Piknik

Voila, I am in Piknik again! There is a great thing about this cafe which triggers my eyes and mind to work on some new shots everytime I am in. Thus I brought my juniors over for a dinner under the whimsical lights.

We picked the desk under the light.

Meet Jovan, who was so excited listening to the soothing tunes and lively cafe decor.

Samuel, who was so so so satisfied with such a treat.

Well back to the tummy filler of the day: Iced Winter Melon that quench my thirst.

And I simply in the mood of something cheesy today so I got myself a Pumpkin Creamy Cheese Bake the pasta with bacon and pumpkin cream sauce. I heart the decent portion which catered my tummy just adequate, well enough.

Oh yeah, Cheesy Mushroom Platter! Meet my new obsession that does with mushroom! Been spreading the words with my colleague about this. Laugh.

There is another trinket in the cafe that will caught you in love. Various board games are available in the cafe. Following by the Monopoly Deal in previous post [ link ], I am craze over UNO now!

Told ya I always have a little lucks, my juniors still couldn't figure out how I won more than one half of the game attempts.

A really awesome place that you couldn't miss, you'll def see your sentimental rainbow amidst the chatters and spell of music through the journey in this time tunnel.

Have you checked it? :)

I started to realize the importance of health and how it could succumbs to really worse life, seeing my cousin's incidence. Being the only child, sometimes I really wish my wings are not born to soar higher and farther. Since I was a kid, I have been centered as the utmost treasure in my family. Thanks pop and happy birthday! I couldn't imagine my life without both of you, really.

Life is wonderful, when you really put your heart out and cherish the beauty of the world.
Even the coffee residue could have attained its beauty if adorned with dainty bits of colour.
Ouch! what a mesmerizing one.

Someone's In Town @ Piknik

Ken Jee is in town! Wondering where to bring him after another round of StreetDance, I ended up with this cafe, Piknik as all of them never been there before.

If I am to describe the cafe in words, chic and bubbly I'll pick. Laugh. Check my previous post [ link ] for more interior shots as I did not take many photos for the night, the bright colour choices of the decor def made your day and night cheerfully in such an ambience.

Kevin and Jeng Yang whom I never meet after graduation! Argh my university buddies, and hey I missed Ken Jee's photo! Oops.

The cafe does not offer a vast choice of food but they taste really delicious. Now shall we move to our picks of the night. Looks great no, I am dropping again next weekend though!

(B) Pumpkin Creamy Spaghetti with bacon and pumpkin cream sauce.
(C) Cheesy Mushroom Platter

Later, zhen hui and grace popped in and joined us for the rest of the night.

The guys suddenly went mad with the deals. I got no idea how the game really works so I just sat aside.

Later, I tried a toss of my lucks over this board game and hey, check my properties! Won the game without knowing why. Laugh.

Next round of chit chatting took place at Library then. Ciao!

It's Owlsome!

Hey lovelies, I knew it's pretty much of backdated posts lately. Pardon me that I really short of time for everything owing to piling schedule of my day time job. Today we'll pay a visit to The Owl Museum with my babe, Fish. Located on top of Penang Hill, so we have to take a cable car ride that costed us RM 8 each.

The weather was really owlsome with the fresh air and azure blue sky. I am like dancing with water drops in the air. Surprising moment though. View the city from hill top and you'll find much difference than you're viewing from the poor window. The vast ocean and sky complement the double rainbow like match made in heaven, really.

After a few minutes walk, we reached the highlight of today. The main entrance of the museum looked just woody that we expected more owls further down the stairs. However, once you stepped onto the lower ground, you'll find a few stalls selling souvenirs, drinks and etc.

Entered the museum then from a secret wooden passage at the price of RM10 for each ticket, I was so excited looking at these night creatures that basically came in all forms.

The owl printings which I busy counting I've encountered how many of them before. Laugh.

On the other side of wall, you'll find framed wall art with owl printings that went along too sweet with the wall.

Then, a glimpse of owls caught my attention. I found a wooden owl sculpture and magnifying glass on table that triggered my itchy hand to do something, someday.

Tilted my head slightly to the right, you'll checked all these amazing owl paintings with me.

And hey mirror, I gotta get a shot of myself surrounding with these owls that I hardly home sweet home with. I need many lucks and I always believe, owls made wonder to me as the lucky creature.

Leaving your eyes on the screen, let me move a bit further to show you the full conceptual interior and the prince sum of owls hidden in the museum.

Perfect to the details, argh!

Let's move our legs after savouring the delicate details, we'll find a owl painting.

Just right above the owl painting, this floral chandelier seems like the night's guardian soulmate which has been there without urging any words. Then you'll find these owl trinkets that are available in store.

I ended up with purchasing a cropped owl tee with this owl illustration. Simply heart the colourful hue that outshine the hemp-like cotton and meet my free souvenir the dainty owl charm!

Bid goodbye to the owls lovelies and please, drop by if you haven't do so. A mesmerizing place with lucks and beautiful things, I swear. Cheers!

Had a Sunday stroll at local flea market named as Lorong Kulit in my city as my colleague, Alfred is seeking some antique goods for his photo studio. It was pretty hot to squeeze into tides of people! However, these antique goods are so beautiful aren't them? They gleamed jewel like under the hot sun that made our Sunday stroll a worthwhile one. Where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. :)

ps. oh yes, upcoming post please! cheers my afternoon gathering with Kris.

Good Friday With Pop & Mom

Had a day off during last Good Friday owing to Singapore public holiday. I decided to spend the day with my parents then. My dad is a typical china man who picks only certain kind of cuisine. Thus, we ended up at Canton-i the more chinese-oriented restaurant.

Restaurant interior of Canton-i is like a fusion of minimalism with chinese elements such as bamboo and blossom.

Next, meet the highlight of today Wantan Noodles with Roasted Pork. Pardon me for muslim lovelies, it tastes really good!

It was such a coincidence that Canton-i was having promotional deal for this Yat Mun Kai or in English, one ringgit chicken. You're eligible for this deal as long as there are three persons and above in a single table.

Our tummies were rather full already after finished off the one ringgit chicken. Even a squid lover like me gotta say Omg looking at this plate of Squid rolls!

Lastly, our family dinner has ended with yummy Yam Bun.
