Whenever my friends asked me how am I doing in my new work place? I always tell them I simply love it where I met many awesome ones. I love my current job because of whom I met a lot more than the nature of job. It's somehow very true.

Lunch with three of the babes, Ivy, Huey Pin and Christine at The Cruises Steak House that is just located at stone's throw away from office. I am the kinda person who appreciate ambience, a lot. I love to immerse myself in beautiful things, especially the vinyl records wall art that reminded me on my beautiful finds. Will upload soon once I get the shot done.

Highlight of this cafe falls on how decent they actually charge for set lunch. With only RM 8.90, one can get a cup of drink where I picked hot peach tea and a main course where I chose my Cream Butter Fish as shown above which even came along with a bowl of hot soup. Argh catered to me just good, I am a soup person if you missed. After the meal, we even get a scoop of ice cream each as dessert. Wunderbar! I gonna shout amidst the hot afternoon.

ps. pardon me for my poor cellphone camera, here comes the new desire! *bang*

Radley Scottie Canvas Tote

Unwrapping a mini parcel from Kuala Lumpur, and hey it's my gift from Radley London! Inside the mini parcel is a large durable canvas tote with Radley's iconic Scottie Dog logo, embellished with British Union Jack flag print. Later, I further adorn the canvas tote with my camera charm that comes with a red felt circle that def complement to Union Jack's blue + red hue. Even flattered knowing that this canvas tote has been used as VIP gift bag for Russell Simmons' 12th Annual Art for Life East Hampton. Oh my oh my. Argh love it to the bits!

ps. many thanks to Radley London and natalie for her kind favour to do me a pick-up at Pavilion :)

Journey 2: The Mysterious Island

Checked another movie Journey 2: The Mysterious Island with my cousins and nephews. First time to buy fifteen tickets in a row! And I am falling in love with Dwayne Johnson or The Rock again seeing him playing ukulele in this movie. What A Wonderful World for this round and quite some time ago, Are You Lonesome Tonight in The Game Plan. Gorgeous both! :)

Merry, Merry

Very first working day after Chinese New Year break and it's fifth day of the festive only! I feel so reluctant to leave my bed this morning. Laugh. The rest of the day was a doom until my colleague Jesyca asked if I wanna tag along for movie tonight. Yes yes yes, the movie I wanted to watch but out of movie ticket at Queensbay Mall tonight! Great. And guess what, my friend Elisa happened to be her other friends who will join us tonight. The world is seemingly small when friends are friends coincidentally. Argh lovely!

We managed to catch I Love HK 2012 which is seriously a laughter. Indescribable funniness!

ps. nice meeting my new friend, Splendy

Photographed our dinner at Manila Place before movie and my pick of mushroom soup + chicken bolognese.

Happy 24!

We won't miss a day to visit Ten of Us's house every Chinese New Year. Our gathering fell on fourth day of CNY this year. Had tomyam steamboat this round which soon I truly experienced the aftermaths when I off to work the next day. The night was awesome with their existence and my more-than-ten-years friendship tie.

Chendy and Doreen dropped by later after their work and we purposely waited until eleven something and suddenly, a blackout in the living room. We were planning how to give Chendy the babe her birthday surprise since this evening. Glad she really surprised and a flaw, Doreen wasn't there. Happy birthday again, sis!

Shot of my babes and dear you in Germany, miss you too...

Time flies! It was like a glimpse and now we've reached the third day of Chinese New Year. Day out with Jin Yin at Azuma Japanese Restaurant was far longer than expected. We scheduled for lunchie only but owing to the cozy sharing moments that pulled us off from time, we actually stayed around three hours. Became tea time it seems...

Azuma's signature dish - Raw Salmon and Eel Pizza, quite a special one.

Enoki Butter Yaki. These dainty buds of mushroom were so fragrant with the butter flavour!

Azuma's CNY special dish: grilled prawn with fish roe.

Meet Jin Yin, my partner in crime of the day. Overall, our first dining experience in Azuma was doing well though I ain't really a fans of Japanese cuisine.

It is always sinful to linger in Daiso! Undue temptation! Laugh.

Love my night with Nicole and Zhen Hui too. Beat me for not getting a shot of us that I actually forgot I'm bringing my camera along. The Tambun Seafood, Haagen Dazs ice cream treat and gambling session simply made wonder through the night. Very much of wonder. :)

Hallo lovelies, how was your first day of this dragon year? Mine was rather sleepy day with relatives showering these particular questions: where you working now? when you gonna find a boyfie? Laugh. Do you experienced the same? :)

Photographed mom's glutinous rice balls, my all time fav. Carrot flavoured for this round!

Happy Dragon Year!

When it comes to this day, reunion dinner always takes place and definitely carries a certain meaning to the very core of my Chinese nature. I'm here to wish all my readers a very happy and promising year ahead. May the dragon year bring good luck and well being to everyone!

My handout from the past week. Can I just burn them like Chinese talisman and finish off in one shot?! I really wanted to...

Whispering to myself again, things will turn out well. Yes.

Redeem Your Scrap For Money?

I am just wondering this afternoon, how many people actually redeem their scrap for money? This is not too difficult to spot a scrap metal dealer in this country, especially when people should have tons of trash after spring cleaning. Do you?

Loving Heart

Aha I know it's like ages since the actual date these shots were taken. Sometimes you just gotta bear with my backdated style of writing. Laugh. Took these at Logos Hope after my visit to Chai Diam Ma, if you still remembered. May your Thursday an inspired one with many loves. :)

Poor Sense of Direction

First working day. There are quite many friends who surprised that I am into banking line, even myself actually. Today went well that I can manage it and tests will be carried out throughout the week which means I am gonna arm myself with exam mood again. Laugh. Just call me unrealistic or so forth, I don't give it a damn. I am truly glad that I still preserve the dainty bits of child-like dreamy.

If you tell grown-ups,
"I saw a beautiful red brick house, with geraniums at the windows and doves on the roof...,"
they won't be able to imagine such a house.
You have to tell them,
"I saw a house worth a hundred thousand francs."
Then they exclaim,
"What a pretty house!"

Women Create

Though I linger around my university quite often after back to the island, I never notice this cafe Women Create until my ex roomie called a date here this evening.

It's rather small that you will basically get this floral table cloth as the biggest spot in your eyes once you stepped into the cafe. Well I would love to see that. I love floral prints a lot, if you know.

Yum yum. Today, I had a cup of hot tea and dessert that offered by cafe owner as replacement for their mushroom soup run out.

And a decent portion of fish & chips for me. Be frank, the food does not up to very-very-very delicious kinda range. However, if I am to let you know I settled the bill for tonight with a note of RM 10. I bet it does make a different. They are somewhere in the average range where you get what you pay for.

My second ex roomie back in university, Xin Yin.

And now, pardon me for a leave to prepare for what my work tomorrow. A bed of roses? I hope so. Cross your fingers and I will see you guys tomorrow night. :)

ps. 感恩,谢谢读者Betty的分享。

Went to Queensbay Mall with Kris, my babe after sent off the boxes to T3. Time flies and she's going to leave the island. I do feel a bit saddening as I'll lose more and more companion in this year. When some of them leaving for work and travel, when some of them back to their hometown, when some of them busying on their works; I truly felt and seem to learn how to enjoy one's solitude.

And just a quickie on my daytime job, I am on board next Monday for a job that I never visualize. With the gifted opportunity that gives me decent pay, great benefits, not-factory-based job, not-sales work and training provided for self development; what can I ask for more. It is a learning curve, keep telling myself. And yet, I didn't forget my dreams.

Never let go of hope.
One day you will see that it all has finally come together.
What you have always wished for has finally come to be.
You will look back and laugh at what has passed and you will ask yourself...
'How did I get through all of that?'

Watched Mission Impossible - Ghost Protocol with Viv today and yea, letting go. Something should just end. I felt so warm this afternoon receiving a call from my aunt. Well... I already head up for a change which might be more like giving up to you. What I am waiting now is just the opportunity to catch and a little bit of courage.

First Day Of The Year

Very first day of the year, spent my sweet time rolling the ball with Anson, my nephew, spring cleaning and scribbling my life list.
